Featuring
men’s and women’s professional competitions alongside a
comprehensive programme of masters and junior age-group events, the
2007 Wolverhampton Open further, promoted by jointly by the
Wolverhampton Lawn Tennis & Squash Club and internationalSPORTgroup™,
will be the biggest club-based squash championships in the UK.
Following the unprecedented success of last years inaugural
championships, the 2007 Wolverhampton Open will be staged at the
Wolverhampton Lawn Tennis & Squash Club from the 11th to 16th
September.
Wolverhampton Lawn Tennis & Squash Club is a members club with
around 1,600 members of whom 1,200 regularly use the club’s
facilities. Formed over 70 years ago the club has seven squash
courts including two glass backed, fifteen tennis courts of which
three are indoors and a fully equipped air conditioned gymnasium. A
bar, restaurant and dance studio complete the facilities.
