PLAYING FORMAT & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
The Dunlop British Open Masters – Manchester 2007 will be played to
England Squash regulations and disciplinary procedures and will
comprise Men’s Championships across O35, O40, O45, O50, O55, O60,
O65 & O70 age group categories, and Women’s Championships across
O35, O40, O45, O50 & O55 age group categories.
International scoring (to 9) & 19'' tins will be used for all
matches.
All players wishing to compete in the Dunlop British Open Masters –
Manchester 2007 must have reached the denoted minimum age on 24th
September 2007 and competitors may be required to supply proof of
age.
Dunlop British Open Masters – Manchester 2007 matches will be played
between the 20th and 24th September, however, the organisers reserve
the right to alter the playing schedule and amalgamate age groups
and plate competitions subject to entry. Plate competitions will be
organised for players losing their first round matches.
All players must complete an Official Entry Form and a £30 entry fee
per age group category must accompany each entry form together with
a stamped addressed envelope.
All players will be eligible for free admission, subject to
availability, to all Dunlop British Open – Manchester 2007 Men’s and
Women’s main draw matches played on the all-glass show court, and
additionally, all players will be eligible for 50% discount off all
official event merchandise, details of which will be available from
the Official Retailer sportdiscount.com™ during the championships.
Withdrawal from the championships must be notified to the
Competition Manager as soon as possible by telephone with a valid
reason. Your reason for withdrawal should then be confirmed in
writing to England Squash, National Squash Centre, Sportcity,
Manchester M11 3FF (Fax 0161 231 4231) within seven days and in the
event of injury, should be accompanied by a letter of explanation
and a doctors certificate.
All competitors are required to referee or mark matches when asked.
internationalSPORTgroup™ reserve the right of one wild card entry
per age category.
England Squash membership is compulsory for all English players
wishing to compete in England Squash sanctioned events.
Competitors must report to the tournament desk at least 30 minutes
before all of their scheduled start times. Players not reporting or
unavailable at the appropriate time of their scheduled match start
time are libel to be scratched.
All finalists are expected to attend the Official Finals
Presentation to show courtesy to the championships sponsors. Prizes
will not be presented to players who are not in attendance at the
finals presentations.
Entries will not be accepted after noon on Monday 20th August and no
entries will be accepted without a fully completed competition entry
form and correct fees. No telephone entries will be accepted.
